The 2012 NZTA Competition will be held in Taupo NZ.
                                September 26th / 30th

 The competition for 2012 will be an open competition, meaning you will not have to be a member (* conditions apply) to enter for that year, and other than that exception will be held according to the rules and regulations as apply to any other NZTA Competition.
The Competition for the 2012 year will be held under the name

NZTA South Pacific Taxidermy Championships
The judging panel has been confirmed and all three judges are World class.

To judge Mammals we have JOE MEDER
Joe Meder has won world and national champion taxidermy awards, and has judged and conducted seminars in numerous world and national taxidermy competitions, including competitions in Norway, Finland, France, Italy, andAustria that were sponsored by the European Taxidermy Federation.

The Bird Judge will be STEFAN SAVIDES
Stefan holds a number of titles from NTA Taxidermist of the year 1994

to Artists choice Best sculpture Wild Wings Show 2008.
He also won Master of Masters at the World show 1999

And for Fish we have RICHARD ABRAHAM
Two times World Champion.
And numerous NZTA Titles

These Judges hold many other titles between them and have Judged at the World Taxidermy Competitions so there is no lack of expertise here.

Stay around for a few days and do some hunting or sightseeing.
Have a night hunt for NZ Possums, you can't miss, there's 9million of them on the loose every night.
